HP with Youtube.com has come up with HP You and You contest wherein you can win from Rs. 1.5 crore in total prizes. As far as contest is concerned, you have to create a video of yourself without showing your face for maximum of 1 minute and need to upload here. In the video you need to gives a glimpse of “yourself” as expressed through your creative life, creative thoughts, and creative passions. Also, you can upload your video in any of the 3 format available:
1) Original Video – You can upload your completed Entry to the Contest Site.
2) Quick Capture- Using a webcam (or similarly functioning device), you can record your Entry directly on the Contest Site using the “Quick Capture” feature.
3) Remix – Using the online video editor found on the Contest Site, you can select elements from the provided creative asset bank and “remix” those elements to create your Entry. The provided asset bank will contain items such as, but not limited to, video files, audio files, still photos, and original Hewlett-Packard images (collectively, “Partner Assets”).
Contest has started for all the entries from July 24 on weekly basis and will end on 24th August. After which HP and YouTube will qualify entries for Semi-Finalists & Alternates. Also, voting need to be done on weekly basis for the same. For Grand prize voting period starts from Sep 7 to Sep 13, after which Grand Prize Winner and Community Award Winner will be announced on or about September 21, 2009.
